Crash! Thunder roared above the dense pine forest, as if it was a warning. Lightning flashed, blazing through the night. Storm clouds roared and rumbled in the starry sky, threatening to open up in a shower.
Two slits opened, revealing a deep turquoise blue. A storm! a slim feline thought to herself. Stretching out her long, white and ash colored, and skinny limbs out. Fallingink escaped the warriors den, weaving in between moss nests. She made her way out of camp, careful to not fall in mud and to keep in the shadows. The turquoise eyes gleamed in the shadows, as lightning lit up the sky.
As Fallingink exited the camp, she nearly fell due to a loud rumble. It is just thunder she reminded herself firmly. Splash! The small she-cat slid through mud, her white pelt now dappled with brown. With a groan, Fallingink got to her delicate paws. She cleaned off her pelt quickly, her gentle tongue rasping over her soft pelt. The she-cat wove through the pine trees, coming to rest under a sturdy pine tree. The tall, sturdy pine tree would show a bit of shelter for the feline. More than being out in the open would.
Pitter patter, rumble tumble, and crash clash. The she-cat jumped up as she heard those sounds, her fear getting the hold of her. Falling ink calmed down, breathing more rapid. She looked up as rain started to drop from the dark sky, letting out a sky. "You never show answers. Why can't you one day tell me? Tell me why I am alone. Alone like I always am?" She yowled into the storm, her voice trailing through the rain and storm. Fallingink knew she would never get an answer. "Why always enemies? Why always someone who will tease and taunt me?" She yowled louder, the thunder rumbling in response. "Why never someone to trust?"
