EchoClan Camp

EchoClan's camp is located in a cave hidden by thick lichen and bracken. Inside the cave, the stones are smooth, having been worn away by many cats and other creatures. Near the entrance is a wider den where the Warriors make their nests, which are usually made of moss. They are quick to defend the entrance, and because EchoClan Warriors are accustomed to fighting in dark and narrow spaces, it is almost impenetrable. In a narrow pathway opposite the Warriors' den is a tiny corridor for the Apprentices' den. Farther down, the cave widens up into an open cavern and on one side there is a slit in the wall. Behind it opens a tiny den, which is used as the Nursery. It is very protected as only one cat at a time can use the entrance and it's almost unnoticeable by those who don't know it's there, until the kits cry of course. In a small dip in the cave flooring there lies the Elders' den. Across from the Nursery, on a sort of platform built from rocks, is the Leader's den. Below it is another narrow corridor which leads to the Medicine Cat's den. The clan cats are not the only ones who make their home in the cave. Towards the back of the cave, a colony of bats hangs from the ceiling, but they usually don't bother the clan cats. They leave at dusk and return at dawn from a night's hunting insects. The bats make easy prey for cats who know how to catch them, though in most portions of the clans Living quarters, the ceiling is quite high. There are many unexplored passages in the cave, but Apprentices are strictly forbidden to explore them. One path leads to the Moon Cavern.
