It was a windy afternoon. The sun was peeking from the white puffy clouds in the sky, about to play another game of hide and seek with the moon. Leaf-bare was nearly over, and its breeze was the only thing left. The season was changing, and life was starting to bloom again.
And when life comes back on the land, Heatherkit does so too. There she was, sitting on a rock near the nursery, enjoying the soft winds brushing on her fur. She was alone, as usual. Solitude allows her to be calm. She likes calmness and quietness. Despite of her simple mindset of a kit, she knows that being alone doesn't mean sadness. You can enjoy being alone when you're happy, and that never makes loneliness a terrible thing to Heatherkit.
But there was just one problem she could never get rid of:
Boredom.
She was awfully bored. For today, her playing needs for a kit hasn't been fully enough. Her curiosity to explore and worry older cats wasn't in her. And she's avoiding other kits, her introverted personality made her less interested in playing with others. Besides, she feels like a mute today. Heatherkit didn't feel like talking. She only hoped that cats would understand her only with some body language, or her face expressions. She realised that she had to say something to get clear. Nevertheless she kept being too quiet.
She wasn't fully happy because of her boredom, and for that she decided to say goodbye to the rock. A tiny yawn went out of her tiny mouth, and she stood up slowly. I'll walk around the camp. Heatherkit thought, while wandering off. Who knows if I'll find something interesting?
