Description
Slender, American shorthair, gray pelt, blue-point coloration, deep blue eyes.

Pelt: Hailstorm's pelt is a bit rough to the touch, and quite coarse. Its base color is an even tone of gray, almost being a white yet quite too dark to be considered cream. Her fur gets dirty easily, and is a pain to keep clean.
Markings: Blue-point coloration. Hailstorm has darker blueish gray areas around her body. The most noticeable would be around her face, giving off a 'mask' type of feature. Her ears and tail also share this darker shading of fur. Her paws are the deepest shade of gray. This color stretches up her legs and fades into a lighter gray, eventually matching the true color of her pelt around her stomach and quarters.
Eyes: Hailstorm has deep, dark, navy colored eyes.
Build: Lithe, fair toned cat. She has long agile legs, and is quite skinny despite her regular eating routine. Hailstorm is quick on her paws, being so lean allows her to have great endurance and agility.

Personality:
Hailstorm is a strong willed, independent cat. She's detached herself from unrealistic things, and has a logical/realism look on everything. She's calm and has a low temper, which makes it quite difficult to set her off. She will always wish to get her personal input in a discussion, and she doesn't care if it may offend anyone else. Being so honest can be dangerous, but she's always expressing her own opinions on any matter. She keeps distant from any other clan member, for she feels having relations will only make her weak. Because of such a realistic view on life and the clans, Hailstorm fails to believe in Starclan. She believes that this is the only life that you are given, so use it wisely. The thought of spirit cats that roam the stars makes her scoff and turn her nose up.
Other cats tend to stray away from her, but she's fine with that; all she needs is her own self-reliance to feel at ease. Hailstorm has always been known as the quiet, voice of wisdom. She has a soft spot for cats who are willing to listen to her morals, and opinions. She respects anyone who is willing to respect her.
Past:
Hailstorm had any other average life as a kit. She had a gracious, loving mother, and an eager father, willing to teach her everything she ever wanted to know about Whisperclan. Other kits became interested in her, but she always stayed distant from her clanmates. Her most difficult years were her apprentice years. She has a rough time with her mentor since she was so stubborn. Hailstorm refused to work with any other apprentices, and hardly did what her mentor tried to teach her. Most the other cats began to give her ridicule, acknowledging her as an 'outsider' or 'loner'. She didn't mind the pet-names given to her, for she didn't even care of what kind of image she was giving off. All she was concerned about was her own self being, judgement wasn't something she needed to get worked up about; besides their opinions didn't matter to her overall view of them as cats. As she grew she refused to let herself become so much as antiquated with any clan members. She didn't wish to slow herself down, or create baggage in the long run. Emotions were something that shouldn't be stirred up to a point where they control your life. Even though she was so independent, Hailstorm had a great love for her clan. Even though she didn't show it, she had a sense of pride in Whisperclan, and she vowed to stay true to it even to her last breath. No one really understands this tie she has with her clan, but that's because she's never allowed anyone to find out.
