Description
Coat
Toadkit has short, glossy, dark brown fur. It has a satin-like finish to it and the color ranges from chocolate brown to dark sable. His pelt could be described as having a buckskin pattern as his fur is darker in the middle of his back and fades out slightly on the sides. His muzzle, paws, and tail are also darker.

Eyes
Toadkit has large, oval, amber colored eyes.

Build
Toadkit has a sturdy build. Compared to his brother, Lizardkit, he can be considered a tad bit pudgy. He's not overweight, but he carries a noticible stockier build compared to his twin giving him a heavy foot. His face is also slightly rounder. Four sturdy legs carry his thicker frame. Unlike his brother, Toadkit is a polydactyle, meaning he was born with extra toes, in Toadkit's case he was born with seven toes on his left paw. This creates a large mit-like paw, excellent for swiping a heavy blow. The deformity does not effect his confident stride.

Personality

Confident
Everything about Toadkit screams confident. His stride, abilities, and bold, daring actions, but mostly its' his words. Even if Toadkit is dead wrong about something he won't admit it. He's too confident to back down. Toadkit doesn't believe he can be wrong about anything, especially sense his twin, Lizardkit, is always one pawstep behind him, even if Lizardkit is only trying to blend into the background. Toadkit won't back down from a challenge, even if it's dangerous.

Outspoken
Toadkit is an outspoken little tom. His confidence fuels his ego and he's not afraid to voice his opinions. This can often be seen as disrespectful, especially to those who outrank him. Even if Toadkit has a good idea, the way he goes about presenting it is all wrong.

Protective
Toadkit is overly-protective of those who he cares about. Especially his twin brother, Lizardkit. He doesn't tolerate anyone who tries to harm or pick on his brother. Toadkit acts as Lizardkit's caretaker and the two are best of friends.

Skills

• Tank-style Fighting. Toadkit thinks all he needs to win a battle is strength, which works for the most part, but there will come a time when his opponent will outsmart him and with his confidence blinding him, Toadkit won't stand a chance.
• Fishing. Due to Toadkit's extra toes, he is an excellent fisher. His large, mit-like paw gives him an advantage when it comes to swiping fish from the stream.

History

Toadkit was born to Purplesparks and Peacetail in the late Leaf-fall season. He had a happy, healthy kit-hood often playing in the nursery and around camp with his twin brother, Lizardkit. Toadkit adores his father, Peacetail, even if the two aren't very close, his father always busy with his Warrior duties. Toadkit loves his mother dearly. When the two kits were just four moons old they had to be rescued during the Great Flood that overpowered Hiddenclan's barriers and swept away nearly all the dens. If it weren't for the quick work of Rainfeather and Shadowrain and the other queens in the Nursery, the pair might have been lost. Two moons later, Toadkit and Lizardkit eagerly await their Apprenticeship Ceremony.

Toadpaw is so adorable omg we have to thread before Ratpaw becomes a warrior. They're just going to be trying to out-confident each other OMG okay. I was quite impressed the originality of his skills- very clever to use his mutation as an advantage! ^-^ Looking forward to seeing these two in action!
