Introduction.

hi. i'm cher. and i had this idea for a forum game awhile ago, due to the influence of homestuck and interactive deviantART comics. :> i thought it'd be kinda cool to bring it here! so, yeah? i hope you guys like it too. but whenever i seem to start a new forum game nobody wants to join in. :( Maybe they end up requiring too much effort or somethin' like that. i don't know. oh well. 

Rules & How to Play!

So you wanna participate? Awesome. But before you go on and post.. try out a few of these tips and rules.. they might help you a little bit.

1. Simply read the OP's (Original Poster) posts for the main topic of the game.
2. Once finished, choose one of the options on what you want to do next, and post it in a reply!

As simple as that!

You're out with your friends. They've rented a hotel and a boat, and go out to sea for the weekend. You were pretty reluctant about it, but went so you wouldn't offend your friends. Its starting to get dark out, the sun slinking below the horizon, and you urge your companions to go back to the hotel, but they won't listen. They're drinking and having a good time, swimming around together and such. Having play fights, and playing chicken with the waves. A crash of thunder in the clouds startles you and you noticed it was soon followed by lightning flashes and a stampede of more thunder. 

You're starting to get scared, but your friends still wont listen to you. Eventually the waves begin to stir and become more fierce than you've ever seen. You try to drag your best friend with you inside the boat, but she pulls away and dives into the sea. You call her multiple times but she continues to just wave her hand at you, as if you're just a pesky little fly. You start to panic as a bigger wave comes along, and smashes violently into the side of the boat, even before you could warn the others. 

Almost immediately, another wave rushes towards the vessel, before you could do anything but curl into a ball, it slams on deck, and sends everything flying overboard. Including you and the remainder of your friends. Everything goes black for a moment. You can hardly think, but you can hear the water and thunder clear in your ears.

You break through the surface only to be submerged once more, aggressively by another pound of salt water. It knocks you clean out, but you wake to find yourself washed up on shore. You look around to find small debris of the boat you rented which seems like forever ago. You hear the faint growling sound of your stomach, notifying you that you're hungry. And you can feel a bit of sand in your soaking pants. How worse can this possibly get?

What will you do?

>> Look for your friends.

>> Explore the island.

>> Get the sand out of your pants.

No pants?! How could this be? You swore you were wearing some on the boat. Maybe the waves took them off. That sand must be someplace else, but you're not going to touch there. Its going to get very dark soon..


What will you do?

>> Ignore the sand and the fact that you're pantless and look for your friends.

Success! You have crafted: PALM FROND PANTS.  But they don't seem very comfortable, however, you put them on anyway. After all, that was your quest. By now, the sun is almost completely below the horizon, and you can feel the hunger pains growing in your stomach. You should probably figure out what to do next.

What will you do?

>> Take a bath in the salt water to get the sand out of your unmentionables.
>> Find something to eat.

The sun is below the horizon, and the last of its light is the only thing keeping you from feeling entirely blind. Thankfully, you're quickly able to locate a banana tree, which wasn't really far at all. However, your arms aren't long enough to reach the bananas growing at the top of the tree. (And man, are these palm frond pants itchy. Or maybe that's the sand.) You'll probably have to find out another way to get them down. Perhaps there's something nearby you could use that could help? 

What will you do?

>> Go to sleep and worry about it in the morning.

You're able to fall asleep with ease, however, you slowly begin to realize whats really going on. Your friends are missing, could possibly be dead, you're stuck on an unknown island and can't reach some beloved bananas, and your pants have suddenly disappeared. Oh well.

Morning eventually comes, sooner than expected. Your stomach beginning to growl loudly as you sit up. What a night.. and you still don't have those bananas. Maybe you can find something now that it's brighter. It shouldn't be too hard when you're in a jungle. There has to be a stick or something lying around.

What will you do?

>> Ignore bananas and look for something easier to obtain.

Fine. Those bananas can have it their way. You don't need them. You are a strong, independent being. They can go shove it up their -- Ahem. Let's not get mad, now. It shouldn't be too hard to find something else to eat. Maybe you'll run into one of your friends along the way. That'd be good. See, then the bananas would have helped you by being so hard to reach. Take that, bananas!

You start walking deeper into the island, and come across a strange tree with rounded leaves and.. Wwat in the name of poop is this? Grapes? Don't grapes grow on vines? Maybe it's some kind of berry. Grrrr. Geez, are you hungrier than a half-starved lion. You better hope these.. whatever they are.. aren't poisonous. Those bananas are awhile back.. you're not really sure if you can make it. Even if you get back to the bananas, you'd have to find something to knock them down with. Oh boy. You'd have to go super fast.

What will you do?

Well.... OK.. if you say so... you better hope they're not poisonous!

Ah.. that wasn't so bad.. you suppose. It has a very very sweet taste to it. Maybe you'll try another one later. But that berry was the biggest on the branch, so you'll be alright for now. Anyway, you're going to want to conserve your supplies. Just in case you get lost, you stuff some berries into the pocket of the pants you crafted. You still really wish you could go home.
