Clans of the Mountains
Many moons ago a clan thrived in a part of the Rocky Mountain range where the mountains dipped to make a small crater. In this crater and these shorter mountains lived four wild clans of cats. BlizzardClan lived where the crater dipped the lowest, and where the snow collected on the ground. CanyonClan lived in the canyons that surrounded some of the crater. PeakClan lived in the short mountains, where the trees grew. LeafClan lived on the other side of crater, far away from the other clans, and well hidden in a grotto.
A horrible snow storm raged through the area and killed most cats. The ones that ran away forgot their differences and became a clan of rouges. They ventured on, never staying in a place for long.
Fast forward, and the rouge clan had formed into a nomad clan called FireClan. A beautiful white she-cat gave birth to a litter of three. She named each kit after a bird - Eaglekit, Robinkit, and Jaykit. They met a band of rouges and were led towards a river that would make a great camp for a few weeks. Eaglekit and Jaykit were stolen, and Robinkit murdered. Blizzardfall, the young white queen who had the kits, followed the strangers scent, but never found them for moons.
Eaglekit grew up in modern RiverClan, and soon became Eagleheart. He felt the need for adventure and set off, meeting a kit named Wolfkit. They traveled together in till they reached the old territory of BlizzardClan, CanyonClan, PeakClan, and LeafClan. He took charge of BlizzardClan and named the now grown Wolfheart as his deputy. He soon accepted two love birds, Russel and Sage as apprentices of BlizzardClan, and rejoiced as many others came to join and fill in the clans.
But his heart ached for his mother. After many moons of leading, Blizzardfall found her son, and leaded along with Eagleheart. She died of illness, and watched Wolfheart perish when he saved Russelpelt from an owl. He named Russelpelt as his deputy, and watched as the other clans became hostile against him.
Would it be an all-out war?
