PLOT Guide

Welcome! This here is the basic Plot Guide! I will cover some basics of plots here, but there is always so much more information out there, so do your research! Anyways, I will cover some Guidelines, distingush between Site-wide Plots and Mini-Plots, and go over some Permissions you will need when suggestiong or requesting a Plot. And of course a Form will be provided. ^^

What is a Plot?

    Plot [plot] noun, verb, plot·ted, plot·ting.
    noun
1. a secret plan or scheme to accomplish some purpose, especially a hostile, unlawful, or evil purpose: a plot to overthrow the government.
2. Also called storyline. the plan, scheme, or main story of a literary or dramatic work, as a play, novel, or short story.

In the case of RPing, a Plot is essentially a story-line of an assigned set of elements created by a group of RPers to carry out during the RP. Plot can contain complex elements, such as a battle which need lots of things to fall into place before they can be accomplished, or simple elements such as a flood which need limited elements to happen. Which leads us to the next section.

Site-wide Plots vs. Mini-Plots
Site-wide Plots are very difficult to finish. There are usually many steps and parts to them and they involve many or all clans. Site-wide Plots usually have prophecy's regarding all the clans well-being. Sometimes special cats are chosen to save their clans are fufill certain duties. Site-wide Plots will be approved by Staff. Auditions will be held for special characters so everyone will have a shot at RPing one. Mini-Plots require less planning and usually involve less characters. Mini-plots could effect one or two clans but don't usually involve more than that. Sometimes a Mini-Plot involves only a handful of characters, it all depends. Mini-Plots could be anything from a conflict about who the next Deputy is to a Fox Attack, to a sickness thats spreading among the clan.

Permissions
Permission from Staff will be needed if your Plot concerns one or more of the following:

• Contains 1 Clan or More.
• Breaks the Warrior Code.
• Seriously Injures or Kills a Character.
• Involves a Prophecy or special cat.

Plot Ideas and Discussions are always Welcome! Feel free to create a thread for discussion or message the Admin to discuss any potential plot ideas you may have. Remember to consider all the guidelines and special permissions you will need when creating your plots.
